The Klezmatics

Actually this occurred this Summer while I was interning with the photographer Lloyd Wolf. On June 10, 2010 he photographed sound check of the folk band The Klezmatics  down at Jewish Cultural Center downtown DC. They were preparing for the show later that night as a part of Washington Jewish Music Festival. The sound check by itself was quite impressive, so the show that I unfortunately could not attend must have been just grand. Klezmatics' distinct style and high professionalism won Grammy, they traveled all over the states and most part of Europe, and recorded about ten albums of unique Yiddish music.
