A couple of weeks ago in Barnes&Nobles I run into the prints by some local photographer . The photographs were pretty standard for this area - DC places of interest. There was only one photograph that grabbed my attention, a cityscape of Georgetown which really captured something about that place. That print inspired me to go to Georgetown and look at it again. I was pleasantly surprised. I realized that the beauty of the place is almost nothing unless the place reminds me about something or someone. There are some places in Gtown that really scream about something in my past, however there are also some spots that I will start missing very soon.
It is considered something almost shameful for artsy people - just taking pretty pictures of places but hey, we are just humans ;) Let's forgive ourselves this little weakness
